Why AMU-Jamia Minority Institutions?

If India is a Secular country then Why AMU & Jamia are Minority Institution but not BHU?

As from past few Days a controversy has been prevailed after Central Government cleared its stand on the status of AMU & Jamia Milia University. In Supreme Court Govt. submitted their reply that those two varsities would no more be recognized as a Minority Institution because they got fund from the Govt Of India.Even the Professor of AMU Irfan Habib has pubilcly said that" Under the AMU Act it cannot be a Minority institution. As we know there are no special seats reserved for Hindus at Banaras Hindu University then why such trends at AMU & Jamia Milia. Seats could be reserved for Socially and Economically backward people of any section but there should be no discrimination at educational institutions in the name of religion. And that’s the real meaning of ‘Socialist and Secular’ state.
