Declassified: Netaji Files

Declassified: Netaji Files

On the 118th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Prime Minister Modi took a prudent and courageous step by declassifying 100 secret files comprising of 16,600 pages associated with Netaji.

Among those a file which is under uncertainty is of a union cabinet note which suggests that there is no scope of doubt that Netaji died in the air-crash on 18th Aug. 1945 at Taihoku. A letter is questionable in which Nehru described Netaji as 'War criminal' (as reported).

But whatever it’s a delighted moment that both Modi and Didi (Mamata Banerjee) have shown their statesmanship by declassifying the files because each and every page of the file is of great importance. The decision of declassifying 25 files every month is marvelous so that one can know many things about the great freedom fighter and his family.
